Celebrating our past, sharing our stories, and building a lasting community legacy.
The Trip Down Memory Lane project is a special initiative by the Three Villages Forum, bringing together the people of Tarbolton, Annbank, and Mossblown to celebrate our shared history and preserve it for future generations.
What We’ve Done So Far
We’ve hosted three community consultation sessions where residents brought along cherished photos and memories to share. These sessions created a wonderful space for people to connect, reminisce, and contribute to the collective story of our villages.
In addition, we held three Roadshow events—drop-in sessions from 2pm to 7pm—that offered much more than just nostalgia:
- Arts & crafts activities for all ages to get creative.
- Information and advice stalls connecting residents with local services that don’t always reach our villages, helping people access support and resources.
- Our growing collection of photos and stories available to browse, discuss, and celebrate together.
What’s Next?
Looking to the future, we’re committed to making this project a lasting legacy. We’re excited to be partnering with the University of the West of Scotland to create a short film/documentary about the history and heritage of Tarbolton, Annbank, and Mossblown.
This film will be:
- Shown at our local cinema, bringing the community together to experience our shared story on the big screen.
- Preserved as part of a permanent archive, so future generations can explore and learn about our villages’ unique past.
Our TV Interview
We were recently featured on TV to talk about the project and its impact on the community. Watch the interview below to hear more about the stories, the people, and the vision behind Trip Down Memory Lane.
